Yellow Eyeshadows Under That You Must Try

I am a huge fan of yellow. It’s my favourite colour. Just look at my blog, there’s yellow everywhere. When searching for yellow eyeshadows, I tend to look for one that is highly pigmented, but not too expensive.

Back in the day, I used to think that to have great pigment, I had to shell out big bucks. Now, I know that’s not the case.

Many of the drugstore brands have incredible eyeshadows that can compete with the pricier brands at a fraction of the cost.

Whenever I’m shopping for eyeshadows, and a yellow eyeshadow palette in particular, I look to see what complementary colours are in the set. I also swipe them on my finger or wrist to make sure the colour compliments my skin tone.

Some eyeshadow palettes are patchy and others have a tremendous amount of fallout. For some people, that’s a deal breaker.

One of my favourite brands to wear is Kiss New York. I’m not sure if the brand has palettes because I’ve only ever seen the individual eyeshadows, but I love this company.

Their eyeshadows cost under $6 and are well worth it. They are very pigmented, so they show up great even without an eyelid primer.

Covergirl’s TrueNaked Dazed palette is another showstopper. Visually, you can’t help but be drawn to the colours, which have a bit of shimmer. Naturally, my eyes immediately went to the yellow.

I have to admit, the palette is a bit patchy. It takes some effort to make some of the colours pop, but because I love the vivid hues so much, I am willing to put in the work.

Finally, Sephora Fresh Florals blew me away. Not only did I love the packaging and the fact that the colours are simply incredible, but the price tag is great. This palette only cost me $9.99.
