Turbans are one of the most fashionable accessories that many people seem to overlook. These inexpensive pieces of cloth are perfect for dressing up an outfit or hiding a bad hair day.
I have dozens of scarves in my drawer and they’re usually the first thing I reach for when I don’t feel like fixing my hair.
The good thing about these scarves is that they are decorative, perfect for natural hair and, if tied properly, stay put all day.
But, so many women tell me that they have absolutely no clue how to tie these scarves. One of my best friends has asked me repeatedly to do a tutorial, so I thought I would oblige.
Below is an easy step-by-step guide to tying the perfect turban. Before we get started, know that you can use a rectangular scarf or a square scarf for this tutorial. But, because most people find it harder to tie with a rectangular scarf, I am going to be using that.
If you follow these easy steps, your scarf should look like mine.
Happy wrapping!
