Meet Rogan

Hi, my name is Rogan. I’m a digital broadcaster, business owner and content creator. But, at my core, I’m just an island gyal who loves adventure, beauty, travel and talking about things most people are shy about discussing in public.

I’m originally from Nassau, Bahamas (born and raised). So, I really am a Bahamian gyal. I now live in Washington, DC.

I started my blog, This Bahamian Gyal in December 2017, initially as a vehicle to share my life, talent and creativity with the world.

The blog later evolved into a travel resource for those in need of real honest travel advice, as well as a resource for those looking for some fun lifestyle content.

Before I was a blogger, I worked as a radio talk show host, writer and PR/marketing exec, all at the same time.

When I first started blogging, it was still relatively new in The Bahamas and I had absolutely no clue what I was doing. But, This Bahamian Gyal gave me the freedom to explore topics I didn’t get to delve into while working in news.
