Just Another Day In Paradise

It never escapes me that I live where people pay to vacation. 

One of my favorite places in the world remains the incredible Paradise Island. The place is absolutely breathtaking. 

Make no mistake about it, I’m a Nassau girl through and through, but, there’s something incredibly magical about Paradise Island. To this day, I get excited driving over the Sidney Poitier Bridge and seeing the kaleidoscope of pastel colors, not to mention the legendary Atlantis. It dominates the skyline. 

This island really is the luxury playground of the rich and famous – the kind of place you go to chill. 

One of my favorite places to visit is Marina Village – a colourful pedestrianized marketplace with high-end boutiques and terrific eateries. 

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to do a photoshoot here. I love being near water and Marina Village provides a lot of that, not to mention yachts. 

One of my favorite photographers, Torrell Glinton travelled along with me to catch a few shots. He never disappoints.

Nothing I love more than bougainvillea – they are so colourful and beautiful. You can find these all over the island.
Basking in the sun and enjoying the view. Inside I’m praying that one of those birds don’t poop on my head.
Do you guys love my yacht? What’s that you say? It’s not mine. Tsk tsk…hating is not a good look on you.
I guess the grass is greener.
All that posing makes a girl hungry. Had to cool down with my favourite ice cream, butter pecan from Ben & Jerry’s. Stop by when you get a chance. The waffle cones smell delicious.
Y’all know how I do. No photoshoot is complete without me jumping in the air. My friends swear this photo is Photoshopped. Nah, I’m just gangster like that.
