If you follow my blog you know that I love colour. Lots of colour. So much so, that when scouting for locations to shoot pictures, I have two conditions, that I be near the ocean and near pops of colour.
One of the places I have been dying to go to for a photoshoot is Louis & Steen’s – a New Orleans-themed specialty coffeehouse in western New Providence. The food is great, the service is fantastic and the atmosphere is cozy.
Although the coffeehouse is small, it is filled with lots of character. Every nook and cranny has something worth looking it, making it one of the most Instagrammable places I have ever been.
The owners are incredibly hospitable and remember their repeat customers by first name. Love that!
I have been craving their sweet potato pancakes with apple compote and andouille sausage ever since I spotted this sweet dish on the Food Network. So, I had to indulge. Delicious!
Because the sun seems to shine directly on The Bahamas, it’s easy to work up a sweat. Which is why I had to cool down with one of their refreshing lemonade drinks. Worth every penny.
Check out the pics and if you’re ever in Nassau, be sure to take a trip down to Louis & Steen’s.
