I am wishing a special happy birthday to one of my best friends in the whole wide world, Shawn Gordon.
He and I grew up together and he has been not only a friend, but a brother to me over the years. This man knows me and I know him.
Even though he now lives in Atlanta, our bond remains as tight as it was when we were living opposite each other in our old neighbourhood as teenagers.
Because I’m all the way in Nassau and can’t celebrate with him today, I am sending him a virtual birthday burger. Birthday cakes are overrated. At least until my birthday comes next month, then they won’t be overrated anymore. Ha ha.
