Let’s start the day off with a whole lotta love.
Today is Valentine’s Day. Whoo-hoo. Contrary to popular belief, this isn’t just a day for lovers. It’s a day to spread love to anyone who means the world to us. So, that could be your parents, children, friends and even pets.
It’s also a day to show yourself some love. You may be going through the greatest time in your life or the darkest point. But, you deserve to be and feel loved, too.
Valentine’s Day has never been a big deal to me. It is just one day, after all. What’s important is how someone treats me the other 364 days of the year. That’s what matters.
So, if you’re significant other sends you flowers just because or treats you like a king or queen year-round, appreciate that and don’t sweat the fact that they didn’t send you flowers at work. Most of the people getting flowers at work probably never get them year-round anyway.
